POST GRADUATE STUDIES

I don´t remember how many times I say which my dream Master’s degree is. I believe that the more I say “I want it” the easier I will get it. A year ago I wanted to be doctor but I had to move from Venezuela to Chile and all my plans change a little. When I did the PSU last year, I didn´t have the score that I needed. So, I decided change my way of thinking. This year I start all over, I decided to study Dentistry but I never forget my dream to be surgeon, so I would want to study a Master´s degree related to that.   

I would like to study Master´s degree about Oral and maxillofacial surgery. I know it, only the name sounds complicate but the more effort it demands, the more rewarded it is. I would like to study abroad. My Moher and I always thinking about that, I really want to study in Europe because the educational system is progressive compared to another place.

 Living in another country is complicate, not only I have to study also I must to work. The only good about it is that I could learn a lot about my experience job as a surgeon dentist.  I don’t know anything about which educational system there is in university, but I can say that I would like to learn in a blended system because it allow to do many things while you live there.

I really hope to get my goal, I know it won´t to be easy but there isn´t anything that without effort can´t come be true.

My future job

All my live I have had high prospect that something amazing will happen in my professional work. Since I was 8 years old I have had a lot of dreams. I remembered when I was at school in first grade telling myself that my dream job was to be a first women President in Venezuela. I know it, it was a bad idea but I wanted to be one of them for a long time. After that, when I grew up I wanted many careers all years long. I wanted to be a lawyer because I always like to speak a lot, also to be a doctor or artist.

I´ll want to work in a Hospital, like a doctor. I´ve never wanted work in office. In a future, I can´t imagine traveling a lot, because to be oral and maxillofacial surgeon demand stability on the place where I will. I don´t know about other people but I can say that in a future I´ll have high expectations about my salary, because to operate people it isn´t easy.

My mother is my role mode, she is doctor. She has had influence about me, so with time, I understood that my dream job is related to surgery. I would hope to work like oral and maxillofacial surgeon. I really can imagine it, I fell that it will be amazing because it´s something that I will enjoy.  I will want to operate people with a lot blood because they had an accident or something like that.

Obviously the major that I´ll take will be oral and maxillofacial surgeon. In large part of my live I really wanted to be a doctor but that dream it can´t be, but I never forget my goal and that major is really similar to medicine.

Grey´s Anatomy

My favorite TV series is Grey´s Anatomy, it´s about five doctors recently graduated of medicine who begin to work in the Seattle Grace hospital, they always wanted to be surgery doctors, for that reason they had to study a lot to achieve their dreams, but during development of the TV series a lot of things happen. It can be defined like a mix of medical emergencies and love relationships. The genre of Grey´s Anatomy is Drama and romance.

 My favorite actor is Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), she is the protagonist of Grey´s Anatomy and a lot of funny and crazy things happen to her in all the series. The other main characters are Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh), Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl), Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) and George O'Malley (TR Knight). They do all the storyline very interesting because without them it can’t be the same, but when one of them died I cried a lot. The director for me is the worst because she has killed a lot characters that I loved. She is Shonda Rhimes.

My favorite scene and most poignant was when George O´Malley died, I cried a lot and he was one of my favorite men actors, I really felt his death because I can´t believe that he died. I didn´t understand how the director could do that to him.

Grey´s Anatomy has 16 seasons, it is a lot I know, but I recommend it, I don´t know about other people but I can say that this TV series is very good and can be a distraction for a moment when you are very stressed. I like this TV series because it´s about medical emergencies and when I was a child I wanted to be a doctor so I love the grey´s Anatomy since I saw it for the first time.
