Evaluation of My Blogging Experience

The blog in general in my opinion was a very interesting experience , at the beginning for me it was too difficult because I didn´t remember the subject. In the past I was in an English course and I graduated, but with time I forgot how to speak English with fluency.

English is very important for me because it is necessary for my life and work. With the University and all the subjects I considered that writing the blog needed a lot of time, but while I wrote the blog I understood that practicing writing is very important. The blog helped me practice my vocabulary and fluency in English. 

I think that my writing has progressed, now I can write with more fluency and the experience with the blog was very educational, and my vocabulary increased. In the future I would like to  continue practicing and with more frequency than what I wrote on the posts, because in my opinion the practice is everything. 

I would like to write about our experiences in life or in the university, but all I wrote on the blog I liked a lot, I liked all the topics that I had to write about in the semester.

I would like to say that the whole experience of writing on the blog helped me a lot despite the complications that caused me not having much time with the university.

The subject I Enjoy studying this semester

The subject I Enjoy studying this semester is Anatomy (The word anatomy derive of Greek), because it´s about the study of the structure and relationship between body parts and I love it because not only a scientific can study this subject, also can study all the students of health, anatomy implicate the structure and function of the human body, including tissues, organs and systems. 

 Anatomy is a subject that is organized topographically because all organs are studied in general, you must also study its structure and how the systems are related to the human body.  I think that the way to study anatomy can be focused on studying everything, but I think the first topic you must study is the nervous system.

The human body changes as it develops, the study of the development of the human body is called embryology and this study can be subdivided in 3 stages. 

When I was studying nursing I don´t like this branch because my teachers were very bad and they hadn´t pedagogy, so anatomy for me was a subject very difficult and complicate. This year when I started studying dentistry I promise myself that I will exempt of the final test.  So with the time, I was loving anatomy and in this moment that subject is my favorite between all the subjects I have. 

The anatomy is a branch very easy if you practice frequently, but the bad thing about anatomy is that you have to study a lot. Only you must have responsibility and determination to exempt this branch. 

An expert in your Field

The person who I admire is Leonardo Da vinci, who was he? He was an Italian Polymath of the Renaissance whose areas of interest included invention, drawing, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, cartography and he was widely considered one of the greatest painters of all time. 

There are a lot of things that Leonardo  accomplished, for example he started his studies of the anatomy of the human body under the apprenticeship of Andrea Del Verrocchio, who demanded that his students develop a deep knowledge of the subject. As an artist, he quickly became master of topographic anatomy, drawing many studies of muscles, tendons and other visible anatomical features.

 

I like a lot of things of Leonardo, the most important work that I love and I think is related to dentistry are his anatomy drawings, because those rudimentary pictures are an example of the human body. Personally I love the anatomy and the pictures of body made by Leonardo. They seem wonderful. 

Leonardo´s work is evidence that it is not necessary to have many instruments to investigate, because technology although it has helped us to develop as a society I believe that we have regressed thanks to it.

My Favourite Place in Chile

One of the places that I love the most in Chile is a town called Ercilla, this is south of Chile, about 7-8 hours from Santiago and about 2 hours from Temuco.  This place I love because it does not have as much pollution as in Santiago, when I am there I feel free to be surrounded by so much nature, everything around me is just vegetation, flora and fauna.  In the countryside there are no buildings or much industrialization, everything is too rural.  

Normally when I go to that place, I am accompanied by my boyfriend with his parents because my boyfriend's whole family lives there, like his grandfather, grandmother, aunts and uncles.  In Ercilla you can do many fun things, like horseback riding, biking or simply taking some time to think and relax whether you are doing yoga or exercise.  I do not go very often to Ercilla because with the university I do not have much time to spare and my boyfriend does not have time either. 

When we both have time we usually travel on winter vacations or in the summer depending on whether my boyfriend's parents also want to travel with us.

A Photograph I Like

 I took this picture just before traveling to Chile in the immigration gate in the year 2016, and I was with my mother and my older brother . My older brother only traveled to the airport because I needed the document for immigration, but everything happened very fast and it was unbelievable. I like the photograph because it reminds me of a fact that is too  sensitive and is happy.

Before I moved to Chile, I needed a document very important so I can leave to Chile because I requested to my brother if he can give me that document, well my big brother had to travel to Maiquetia airport.  The document that I needed, my father had to sign the document, but The relationship with my father was very difficult, since I was 4 years old I have never had a nice relationship with him, but with the time I learned to accept the fact. So, the same day when I traveled to Chile that day was very cray, because that day I was very sad and my mother too.

Last year my older brother with his girlfriend moved to Chile, so I had not seen him since that day I took the picture , I was very sad with that fact. I Still have family in Venezuela, like my grandmother and my aunt, I hope to see them again someday. 

Movie: Pride & Prejudice

Pride and prejudice was one of the first books that I have read, when I was 14 years old I realized how important reading was in life.  In the book I liked how the story of the characters was described and how it was developed.  When I first saw the movie Pride and Prejudice, I understood that you can not compare a book with a movie, but the way in which the film tried to imitate the events in the book was very real and attached to the closest version of the film history.  Over the years and thanks to the book I read too, this movie became one of my favorite movies.

The first time I saw pride and prejudice was when I was 16 years old and it was before I moved to Chile, as I said earlier at the beginning I did not like the movie very much but with time it was more and more liking me.  Although the book clearly describes the facts much better, the film pride and prejudice does not cease to be a real representation of the story told in the book.

Pride and Prejudice is a humorous story of love and life among English gentility during the Georgian era. Mr Bennet is an English gentleman living in Hartfordshire with his overbearing wife. The Bennets 5 daughters; the beautiful Jane, the clever Elizabeth, the bookish Mary, the immature Kitty and the wild Lydia. Unfortunately for the Bennets, if Mr Bennet dies their house will be inherited by a distant cousin whom they have never met, so the family's future happiness and security is dependent on the daughters making good marriages. Life is uneventful until the arrival in the neighbourhood of the rich gentleman Mr Bingley, who rents a large house so he can spend the summer in the country. Mr Bingley brings with him his sister and the dashing (and richer) but proud Mr Darcy. Love is soon in the air for one of the Bennet sisters, while another may have jumped to a hasty prejudgment. For the Bennet sisters many trials and tribulations stand between them and their happiness, including class, gossip and scandal.

Every time I'm alone is when I see the film of pride and prejudice, I like to see it alone because it makes me concentrate on the film.  also when I saw the film for the first time I was alone.  Once I tried to see pride and prejudice with my brother but he found it very boring

I really like the movie because it's a classic that represents the literature of a romantic narrative.  I also love it because through the protagonist Elizabeth Bennett makes us understand the importance of listening to ourselves.  finally I like the movie a lot because it allows you to feel the same emotions as the protagonists, like sensitivity and common sense.

My Favourite Piece of Technology

I love the technology, I grew up in a period full of technology, and well my favorite piece of technology is the cell phone. I think that I can`t live without it, but I believe that the technology is bad for the family, because cause distance between relatives close. 

My cell phone is the most things important for me; a cellphone is a wireless mechanism of the communication that we use to communicate. My first cellphone gave me when I had eight years old, but when I had that age I didn’t know how use a mobile phone because it was my first piece of technology in my life, but with the time I learned how use it. 

Now with twenty years old I know how to use a mobile phone, I use it for search information, look at address, make an assignment, etc. Certainly I use the mobile phone for everything like distraction or responsibilities. 

I often use it only in the morning because with the university I don’t have too much time to use my mobile phone, but when I have time I like to use it in the metro or bus to read books or to look at the social networks like Instagram or WhatsApp when I travel to the university or my house. 

I like to use because is too diverse and I allow to know a world full of opportunity. My life would be like without it will be too much boring; I don’t imagine how will be the communication without mobile phone, but I think that to use too much the mobile phone has a consequence in the life and health of the people.
